Tanel Cleats Womens Softball
Tanel REV-D Womens Softball Cleat
These Tanel Cleats are very, very, very good. We highly recommend these cleats if you are looking to be a top competitor. We also highly recommend these cleats if you have had a history of ankle or knee injury AND you are a
neutral pronator
or an
overpronator.
We therefore, do not recommend these cleats if you are an
underpronator (supinator).
We only fuss about this stuff because Tanel has designed these shoes to resist overpronation (which is good if you are an overpronator).
So, generally a great pair of cleats and we have read many positive reviews about the comfort and durability of these cleats.
Getting back to the injury prevention, these RevD's come with the
360 Cleat Technology
maximizing injury free pivot movement, while still giving you very good grip for quick movements.
The 360 cleat pattern (actually more of a horse-shoe) is set in their proprietary co-polymer 'SpiderFLEX'
outsoles
which are shock absorbant, lightweight, durable and provide excellent surface grip.
The uppers
are made from
natural leather
and
mesh
for added
breathability
and are flexible enough to customize to the shape of an individual's foot. In fact, these shoes are the "Best In Class" for uppers and breathability.
The shoes claim optimal pressure diffusion for the cleats and a lining that wicks away sweat and moisture to help prevent
bromhidrosis
and
blisters.
Tanel 360 was created to engineer safe shoes for athletes and these Rev-Ds are reportedly very strong in ankle and knee strain prevention. Players polled about the shoes claim they feel lightweight, and are both durable and flexible. They also like the shoes' style. The shoes come in standard widths and are true to women's sizing. Manufacturer installed "pitching toes" are also available.
