Nike CTR360 Trequartistas

The CTR360 series are Nikes answer to affordable fotball cleats. Most of our readers seem to beleive they haven't surrendered much quality for money.

The Triquartistas are built specifically for attack-minded midfielders. Read more.

Nike Vapor VI

The Nike Vapor VIs aren't a huge improvement over the Vs, so if yourse are still serviceable, it may be worth it to use them up. Read More.

Nike Vapor V

Introduced in April 2009 - the Nike Vapor V is purportedly an advance over the Nike Vapor IV. The main complaints concerning the older version centered around persitent blistering. The Nike Vapor V has appeared to remedy this problem through a re-engineered heel well.

At $148 these shoes are not cheap, but we read reviews extolling the virtues (saying great stuff) about the Vapor V. Most players claim a noticeable difference between these cleats and some of Nike's less pricey models.

Asics Lethal Tigreor

Asics, our research indicates, has carved its niche in the "injury prevention" business. While slightly heavier than it's competitors, the Lethal Tigreor provides extra stability and, some say comfort, to help players withstand the rigours of daily training.

Perhaps, these are ideal trainers?

The shoes feature a slightly raised heel, allowing for a "sprinters effect" for short bursts as well as superior turf-grip.

EVA midsoles and external PU heel counters provide additional support and comfort. $63 bucks was the best price we could find, and that is from a UK supplier.

Cheers!

Nike Jr Total 90 Expand Kids Soccer Cleat

The Total 90 Expand is a relatively unique soccer boot due to its “expand” attribute, which allows the shoe to stretch to fit growing children’s feet for a longer period of time.

The off center lace loops reportedly allow for more accurate striking and passing, as the loops come into less contact with the ball.

We like the spinal structure bars that, based on reviews we have found, give the boot better ankle support for both improved accuracy and injury prevention.

We have found Nike Jr. 90 Expands priced as low as $30
