We would feel better if you took a look at the Mizuno Finch Franchise G3's which sell for $34.99 + shipping… as these are much better softball cleats at a relatively low price. But if you need to stick below 20 bucks… then maybe you should go with the Pumas. Interesting note for us is the listed weight of these Pumas which is 12.5 ounces. The various types of Mizuno Softball Cleats run between 9.1 and 9.4 ounces. So think about how competitive you wish to be and make your decision accordingly. We see no big problems with the Pumas and the CMEVA midsole is good material, but we would like to see the midsole a bit thicker. Mizuno’s have the closest thing to a perfect midsole. To read more… click here. Lastly, the Pumas have a very nice lacing system giving you the choice between traditional lacing and these speed lace wraps. We wish we saw this design on all cleats! We have thus found no player reviews for the Puma Kat II.
