PUMA Baseball Cleats
PUMA Baseball Cleats are represented by Johnny Damon of the NY Yankees. In fact, Johnny will be wearing them in this year's
World Series.
Cleats-Info has also found that Tulane University's Baseball Team wore PUMA Spikes throughout the 2005 season when they were consistently ranked number 1. So, although PUMA is not as well known in the sport of baseball as Nike, Adidas adn Mizuno... they probably can make a quality baseball shoe.
In fact, there are a lot of PUMA Baseball Cleats on the market and we want to review as many of them as possible.
What we will do here is provide a quick summary of each cleat along with a link over the picture of the cleats. The link will lead you to our more detailed analysis.
PUMA DFR Metal III

PUMA Ultra Speed II
PUMA gives the following Product Description..."The PUMA Ultra Speed II is a sprinter-inspired baseball shoe built for speed. An ultra lightweight, low profile performance speed spike for those that demand exceptional quality with minimal weight. High performance, lightweight synthetic suede upper with breathable mesh for temperature management. Lace Wrap System adds increased support and comfort. Locking foldover tongue. CMEVA midsole with iCELL provides cushioning. Midfoot TPU shank gives stability. Lightweight TPU plate with five stainless steel cleats and integrated TPU cleats in forefoot. Wt. 12.8 oz." We found one mother's review of these Puma Baseball Cleats that stated she bought these shoes for her son. We couldn't determine if... 1) the son was a college baseball player, or 2) the son was in college and played baseball. Anyway, she stated (as she must have ordered them on-line) that his shoes could actually be a size smaller and so she thinks that these shoes "run big". She stated that her son feels that they are very light and very comfortable. Her son added a "Tuff Toe" pitching toe to help him protect his big toe area.
