in the outsole, the shoes boast excellent traction, stability for baseball specific movements, with minimal slippage. The uppers are made from synthetic leather, and are perforated for added breathability. Tongues and collars have extra padding for comfort and even more stability.
EVA midsoles
provide lightweight cushioning and support for the arches that and are highly impact resistant. The fore foot cushioning system is built from Adidas'
proprietary Adiprene
for superior performance and durability compared to EVA. Finally, Adidas'
Adituff technology

These plain black (which usually cost more than the Reds for some reason loo pretty smooth, and the this metal spike version is a good buy at about $30 (click pic to buy).
