Jumpman23 is the brand + Jordan's number

It's a summary of the phenomena that took Nike from being a niche supplier of up market running shoes for upper-middle class joggers, to become the preeminent producer of sports shoes in nearly all sports, worldwide.

In baseball Jumpman is ably represented by the

Jumpman Jeter Clutch shoes.

They also come in a cleatless variety (Left).

The shoes feature a minimalist look upper , that is quite attractive and the distinctive Jumpman Logos.

Dre Bly and Terrel Owens wear the Jordan Jaq BQs (below).

Sweet looking shoes. But pricey. Many reviewers claim too pricey.

The shoes seem to offer superior ankle control, but there are lots of mids out there that do that for 60% of the price. Read more.

In all, Jumpman is a great looking shoe brand. It's also associated with all the right names.... beginning with Jordan himself.

But somehow this site can't help but feel that this site is about Cleats, and besides the 10 minutes MJ spent in AA baseball, we can't really find a reason to fall for these cleats based on the name.

That is not to say they may not be great cleats... we just aren't so sure we are paying for just a bit too much brand and not enough performance, here.
