Boombah Vengeance

Various blogs and boards have mentioned these shoes as "competitive to Ringor", especially if you want a light-weight cleat.

Ringor's all natural leather uppers clearly will be heavier than this shoe which is made from synthetic leather and mesh.

The Double Stitched TPU toecap provides extra scuff protection and comes in especially handy for pitchers with heavy drag. The Flex Shield TPU web is also there to add to shoe longetivity.

The shoes come with a 'full length compression' midsole but Boombah does not specify its material. We assume it is EVA?

These Boombahs also features a sculpted foot bed, but we are not sure whether the insoles are made from a customizeable material that will conform to your foot, in the event that your feet are "sculpted" differently than the footbed. It is probably a good idea to try before you buy.

Boombah says you should order a "1/2 size up" for the Vengeance.

Boombah has come a along way since it's founding in 2003. Based on what we have read from players they have a quality product, and in particular, a lightweight cleat.

Untill we can get more questions anwered on line particulalrly concerning the shoe's construction materials, we will have to be a bit conservative in our ratings.
